The Four Pillars

The Four Pillars is a classic location for a panoramic view of the ancient city of Ávila, just outside the old town in the north-west corner, next to the Salamanca Road, and is said to be home to a beautiful legend about Mother Teresa. The view across the river valley to the imposing medieval walls in the distance and the colorful architecture of the city is definitely worth a visit.
